This year, St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, celebrated Easter  by hosting an Easter dinner for their community.

Pastor Mark Schoenherr’s hope was to feed people physically and spiritually. “Hopefully through this weekend, we can find and reach those who are looking for a relationship with their Savior, Jesus Christ.”

In an effort to reach those who could not physically make it to the Easter dinner, which was well-attended, the church made deliveries of the meals that featured traditional Easter foods of ham, potatoes and delicious desserts. “We cooked up a hundred and fifty pounds of potatoes and I think a hundred pounds of ham,” says Pastor Schoenherr. St. Paul’s took reservations for more than two weeks and plans to reach out to the community again next Easter with this soul-satisfying meal and fellowship.
